Coming to you from the capital of Kerala, India!

I am having a good time at my grandparents' home in the capital of the state of Kerala, India.  This state is located at the south-western coast of India and we are experiencing the onset of monsoon rains.  As you can see, I have already made many friends in our neighborhood.  I get to meet cute babies, eat good South Indian snack foods, and I have also found Domino's Pizza.  The view here is spectacular - we are near the Arabian Sea which is visible from the balcony. There is a nearby park surrounded by a cool tropical forest. Also Kerala gets all new cartoon network shows before America which I found on my IPOD5. When we sleep at night, the windows are open and the sound of heavy rains is like a train rumbling into our home.  I hope you continue to read my posts and share some comments during this summer.  Bye for now! Stay tuned!

  1. Great to read your posts and see your awesome pictures! The picture you took of the vadas and coconut chutney has me drooling. Who made that? Did the Kerala pizza taste like American pizza? Did you like how it tasted? Enjoy your trip! - Cousin Anand

    1. Yes, the Indian pizza is as cheezy as it should be and the bread is delcious. Plus there are a greater variety of toppings. Thanks for reading my blog, C. Anand!
